Tosali Indhan and Gas Private Limited" is incorporated with the aims & objectives to cater the opportunities in the “Petroleum & Gases” sectors along with the motive to serve the nation by providing LPG to each and every household, industry and commercial user at the competitive price with the endeavour to obtain total customer satisfaction in the products & services thereby ensuring a long standing relationship with the customers.
We have a strong distribution & storage network, for our uninterrupted and regular supply of quality LPG. We not only supply gas but we do help our customers by our expertise and become a partner in their growth.
TOSALI INDHAN Gas has been pioneer in providing total energy solution to its customers. It offers its technological expertise in design, engineering and maintenance of cylinders installations related services for LPG. Our installations service provider can be found in every rural and urban areas for service.
Tosali Gas believe that within 1-2 years 40-55 percent of the domestic user and 70-80 percent of commercial user of LPG would switch to nonsubsidised and commercial LPG due to steep increase in prices of liquid fuels and Government policies to reduce subsidy.
After starting of D.B.T.L scheme a huge market in domestic & commercial sector has been grew up.
To capture the golden opportunity in LPG sector, we are working towards building bottling & blending plant of LPG across India with concentration on regions where the consumer base is waking up to the needs for a quality product and world class services in LPG sector. We are fully committed to back the Dealer's operations and management through an integrated supply & distribution chain and marketing plan.
We are offering the opportunity to you to be a part of Tosali Gas Family; we are providing two types of opportunity.
Indhan gas invites applicaton for:
*District Distributor/ C&F
*Dealer
Today, Indhan is sold and delivered different pack size like 5 kg and 14.2 kg for domestic use 19 kg and 47.5 kg for industrial and commercial consumption.Indhan gas is also supplied large volume of consumer in manufacturing and engineering sector.
In India, nearly 8.9 million tons of LPG was consumed in the six months between April and September 2016 in the domestic sector, mainly for cooking. The number of domestic connections are 215 million (i.e., one connection for every six people) with a circulation of more than 350 million LPG cylinders.[10] Most of the LPG requirement is imported. Piped city gas supply in India is not yet developed on major scale. LPG is subsidised by the Indian government for domestic users. Increase in LPG prices has been a politically sensitive matter in India as it potentially affects the middle class voting pattern.
LPG was once a standard cooking fuel in Hong Kong; however, the continued expansion of town gas to newer buildings has reduced LPG usage to less than 24% of residential units. However, other than electric, induction, or infrared stoves, LPG-fueled stoves are the only type available in most suburban villages and many public housing estates.
LPG has a lower energy density per liter than either petrol or fuel-oil, so the equivalent fuel consumption is higher. Many governments impose less tax on LPG than on petrol or fuel-oil, which helps offset the greater consumption of LPG than of petrol or fuel-oil. However, in many European countries this tax break is often compensated by a much higher annual tax on cars using LPG than on cars using petrol or fuel-oil. Propane is the third most widely used motor fuel in the world. 2013 estimates are that over 24.9 million vehicles are fueled by propane gas worldwide. Over 25 million tonnes (over 9 billion US gallons) are used annually as a vehicle fuel.
Not all automobile engines are suitable for use with LPG as a fuel. LPG provides less upper cylinder lubrication than petrol or diesel, so LPG-fueled engines are more prone to valve wear if they are not suitably modified. Many modern common rail diesel engines respond well to LPG use as a supplementary fuel. This is where LPG is used as fuel as well as diesel. Systems are now available that integrate with OEM engine management systems.

LPG is Liquefied Petroleum Gas. Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) are obtained by refining of crude oil and from natural gas by oil absorption or refrigerated absorption process.
LP Gases are mixtures of hydrocarbons, which are gaseous at normal ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure, but can be liquefied at normal ambient temperature by application of moderate pressure. It is a clean burning, non-poisonous, dependable, high calorific value fuel. LPG is stored and transported in containers as a liquid, but is generally drawn out and used as a gas. LPG in gaseous state is nearly twice as heavy as air. Any leakage of LPG, therefore, tends to settle down at floor level. LPG contains no toxic components such as carbon monoxide and is, therefore, non-poisonous. Fuel gases will burn only when mixed with air in certain proportions. The minimum and maximum concentrations of a fuel gas in a gas / air mixture between which the mixture can be ignited are termed as the over and upper limit of inflammability - The lower flammability limit for LPG is 2% and the higher limit is 8.5%. Pure LPG is colourless and odourless. LPG is distinctively odourised to give warning in case of leakage. Its smell is detectable in air at concentrations down to 1/5th of the lower explosive limit.
The Useful Characteristics Of LPG Fired Equipment Is Summarised Below:
Portability : Cylinders can be transported easily to the location or can be fixed to mobile equipment.
Own Storage : Alternate gas suppliers make use of piped delivery system where the customer is affected the moment supply fails. LPG stored in cylinders or bulk installations provide a greater degree of product security.
Wide Turn Down : By this is meant the range of gas flow from maximum to minimum for a particular burner. Burners can be designed to operate over wide range.
Ease Of Control : Gaseous fuels are the easiest to control and are very quick in response i.e. you can light a fire within seconds of turning the burner knob on. Solid fuels are the slowest.
Small Flames : Many processes require a small flame, or a number of small flames rather than a big one. LPG is a good fuel for such applications.
6. Self-Pressurizing: LPG is stored under moderate pressure and therefore no pumps or gravity system is needed to get the fuel to the burner. Simple LPG burners are quite independent of electrical supply.
Consistent Quality : LPG as all petroleum fuels is subject to stringent quality controls and hence it is possible to maintain consistent quality of the product.
Clean Combustion : LPG is a high-grade fuel with negligible impurities producing ean sulphur -free combustion gases. This can be important for many processes especially where the gases come into contact with the products.
Little Maintenance : Many LPG burners are very simple and require little aintenance. The clean combustion gases ensure long life even for the more complex burners.
